Job Duties:
Operator IV: This position is designed for employees with limited experience in ENR FRAC operations. Employee will gain additional knowledge of FRAC operations. Employee will demonstrate ability to perform the following, at minimum. Ability to operate/maintain the following equipment: Hydration, Frac Pump, Acid Transport and loading nitrogen from storage vessels. After competency of these skillsets are met, employee may be placed on review for advancement to next appropriate level.
Operator III: Employee will demonstrate ability to perform the following, at minimum. Ability to operate/maintain the following equipment: Nitrogen Pumps, Nitrogen Mini Transports, Blender and Line Boss. After competency of these skillsets are met, employee may be placed on review for advancement to next appropriate level. Employee will gain additional knowledge of FRAC operations and MUST be able to demonstrate the ability to perform at FRAC Equipment Operator IV.
Operator II: This position is designed for employees with extensive experience in ENR FRAC operations. Employee will gain additional knowledge of FRAC operations and MUST be able to demonstrate the ability to perform at FRAC Equipment Operator III, IV and V statuses. Employee will demonstrate ability to perform the following, at minimum. Ability to operate/maintain the following equipment: QA/QC and SMARTS. Ability to troubleshoot fluid systems and equipment during FRAC operations is a MUST. This employee will regularly be tasked to train other employees. After competency of these skillsets are met, employee may be placed on review for advancement to next appropriate level. Employee will gain additional knowledge of FRAC operations and MUST be able to demonstrate the ability to perform at FRAC Equipment Operator III, IV.
Operator I: Employee will demonstrate ability to lead the FRAC crew. This employee will be required to have ability to perform FRAC operations without supervision in a safe manner. This employee must also ensure equipment is inspected and in safe operating order. Leadership on location is derived from this employee when supervisor in absent. Maintaining on-site inventory of all additives/components needed to complete assigned task. Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and contractors is a MUST. This employee will be frequently required to train other equipment operators. This position is designed for employees with extensive experience in ENR FRAC operations. Employee will gain additional knowledge of FRAC operations and MUST be able to demonstrate the ability to perform at FRAC Equipment Operator III, IV.
This position does not solely restrict employee to only operate/maintain FRAC equipment. Employee may be required to assist ENR departments in various operations throughout the company (roustabout, maintenance, water trucks, etc.).
Physical Conditions / Work Environment
- Ability to work under stressful and physically demanding times is crucial.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, inside and out of ALL assigned equipment.
- Preventive maintenance, such as, greasing unit is required.
- Perform daily pre and post job inspections on unit and complete appropriate vehicle inspection reports.
- Assist in maintaining equipment for safe/legal transportation on public roadways.
- Report deficiencies to maintenance group and repair prior to putting unit into commerce. Installing tire chains when appropriate.
- Making judgement calls on safely moving unit will be the responsibility of this employee.
Requirements:
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to maneuver/lift 50-100 lbs routinely during shift
- Class A CDL preferred
- HazMat and Tanker Endorsement preferred
- Ability to work as a team is vital to this position. Stopping the job when unsafe conditions exist is –REQUIRED. Must be comfortable consulting with management to express concerns and/or new ideas. Thinking outside the box is highly encouraged.
